James Harris Moore is the son of a Nashville singer/songwriter and has spent his musical life coming to terms with country music. His sound is split between the twang of Ryan Adams, the careful guitar picking of Mark Kozelek and the grit of Uncle Tupelo. His new record, Get Gone, is a set of ambient-drenched, finger-picked, folk tunes about turning 30 and searching for home in places and people.
